Fried Eagle is awesome! It's the talk of the town! We drew lots of cool things for the zine. We had cheddar bunnies for snack.

Introducing...
Pumpum!
Pumpum has arrived and is snuggled underneath the leaves of its mother. However, not all is safe in this wild game of gardening and nature. Apparently some creature thinks Pumpum is a tasty treat.
Please welcome and wish good luck to Pumpum!

Here is our pumpkin seed when it first started to hatch... Then it got too big for it's pot, so we planted it into the ground... Wow, it really grew!

Team Carver, Nigel and Trotter
We watered our pumpkin seed twice a day and placed the pot out in the sun. The pumpkin grew and we transferred it into a bigger pot. The root system we saw was HUGE! As it grew in the bigger pot, there came a third leaf. Eventually, six leaves grew, and the fourth leaf grew huge! Finally, we took it to Trotter's home and transplanted it into the dirt of his garden. A week later it grew curly-q's and it has still survived.

This pumpkin loves it here!
It grows more and more every night, just like how it grew from nothing to an inch on the fifth day it was here.
It's about eight feet long and has more than 30 flowers counting the buds and the two that didn't make it, and five in full bloom.

Giant Pumpkin Contest
We got giant pumpkin seeds from a giant pumpkin grower who won first place. We divided up into teams and we started growing our pumpkins. The results will be posted on the blog.
