As with all new projects, there were many hoops and hiccups to get through. Naturally, things will begin last-minute and much differently than expected. This is how it always happens. This is also the time when frustrations surface and people give up.
Oh, but we had The Hof on our side. With mugs of warm coffee and chamomile--and a very friendly barista who joined in on the conversation--we were reenergized. New plans were drawn-up and ready to go.
All it took was one hour and a short getaway to this small corner of Goose Hollow.
(And a barista with tattooed arms and a neighborly smile.)
Sometimes, all it takes is a smile to save the day.
